- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My sister left crying tonight after Paul made a fool of her. She came in tonight to amend the taxes that H&R Block filed incorrectly. After being eyeballed by Paul he assisted her by laughing at her questions. While referencing notes on her phone he accused her of texting during her appointment and wasting his time. Then accused her of lying on her taxes by claiming herself (an eighteen year old) to be self supported. Which she is...she also paid 50 dollars to file when it's advertised that filing a simple 1040 is free with H&R block. Paul was unbelievably rude and condescending to a young adult doing her taxes for the first time. (I've already filed a complaint with corporate)By Pauli Bissonette, July 10, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have had Paul do our return for at least the last two years maybe three. I have this huge jumble of papers that he goes through to see what is applicable. He just says, don't worry we will get through this. I ask a lot of questions and have to have things explained to me more than once. He has always showed extreme patience with me. I will apologize for not quite getting it and asking to have it explained again and he never makes me feel foolish. Every year I vow to do better with my record keeping, but I never seem to follow through with that. I will continue to get my appointments with him. Also this is not Jim King….this is his less knowledgeable about taxes (and about how to get this review in my name-- but hey I have other nice qualities.) wife BrendaBy Jim King, May 31, 2017
